Educational Kits Distribution Ceremony
DLG successfully organized an Educational Kits Distribution Ceremony under the DLG/BC Scottish Scholarship Scheme 2025–26 on 19 May 2026 at the Education Complex for Special People, Peshawar.
A total of five Grade 10 students were selected for the scholarship programme, and educational kits were distributed to support their studies, reduce educational expenses, and promote inclusive access to education.
The ceremony was attended by Ms. Irum Amin, Project Coordinator, British Council Pakistan, as Chief Guest; Mr. Falaq Niaz, Director, Education Complex for Special People, as Guest of Honour; Ms. Shazia Gul, Principal; Ms. Meraj Humayun Khan, Chairperson DLG; members of the DLG Executive Committee, staff, teachers, parents, and students.
Speaking at the event, DLG Chairperson Ms. Meraj Humayun Khan appreciated the support of the British Council Pakistan and the Scottish Government in promoting educational opportunities for marginalized communities. Ms. Irum Amin highlighted the importance of inclusive education and appreciated DLG’s efforts in implementing the scholarship programme across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of educational kits to the selected students, reaffirming the shared commitment to inclusive education, empowerment, and equal learning opportunities for all.
